To prepare tenders and administrate bidding process in line with purchasing strategies
To analyze supplier quotations, recommendation for sourcing decisions based on given technical project aspects
To participate in negotiations with suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms
To analyze market trends and applies this knowledge to insightful purchasing decisions
To initiate, negotiate and perform contracts with suppliers
To maintain continuous improvement in contracted terms with suppliers
To actively cooperate and communicate with local as well as foreign suppliers
To forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
As an escalation level, provide support to operational purchasing team in significant matters
